Adventure Photographer and Outdoor Instructor
I was born on a sandbar in the north Atlantic - surrounded by the sea and a little patch of woods behind our house which felt like an enchanted forest. From an early age I loved being outside, rolling around in its briars, collecting cuts and poison ivy, and shooting my slingshot. Not a lot has changed. I'm passionate about the conservation of wild places, spinning a good yarn, and outdoor recreation; among other things. I once found myself representing the Republic of Kiribati at the United Nations and have been lucky enough to have some of my work featured by National Geographic, Outside Magazine, Kiwi Trail Runner and highlighted by Vimeo Staff Picks. Currently, I work a dream job as an outdoor instructor with Outward Bound in the Marlborough Sounds, NZ.
