New Zealand Outdoor Photographer and Writer
I was born on a sandbar in the north Atlantic - surrounded by the sea and a little patch of woods behind our house which felt more like a forest. From an early age I loved being outside, rolling around in its briars, collecting cuts and poison ivy and shooting my slingshot. Not a lot has changed, though I traded my slingshot for a camera. I'm passionate about the conservation of wild places, documentary storytelling, and beer; among other things. I once found myself representing the Republic of Kiribati at the United Nations and have been lucky enough to have some of my work featured by the likes of National Geographic, Islands Magazine, Outside, Kiwi Trail Runner and Vimeo Staff Picks. Currently, I am a Creative Producer at Television New Zealand and founding partner at the Bureau of Explorers.
